7/7/10:  Sonny crossed the rainbow bridge today.  At only 5 1/2 years old, he had bone cancer which was aggressive and terminal.   I had not seen him in over a year although he was close by.  I knew he was in good hands.
Sonny was unique.  No dog ever had a tail like his.  He was great with other animals, including deer, raccoons, and other critters that passed through the refuge where he lived for the last 3 1/2 years.

You will be missed by all who knew you, by many who met you and by all the furry friends who called you brother.

At his first forever home. The little girl was allergic to him so he came back to Ozark Dogs.
Sonny as a puppy.  After a long day of rope chewing, he sorts through applications to pick his forever home.
