have been hiking a lot with her, and she loves it. Anyway, I hope to

3/27/07: Yes, we have given Myia a different name. We named her Aspen.
She is doing quite well aside from a little bit of chewing and some
digging in the yard. The pool has been fine, I am just a little concerned
about the summer when it is open. I don't think she will get in it, but
she might want to drink out of it. Anyway, everything is well.

1/24/07: Myia wandered up to a home in the country. After several weeks of unsuccessful efforts to find her owner, she was given to our rescue. She is a wonderful girl. She seems never to have been abused and is very trusting, but everything seems new to her. I don't believe she had ever ridden in a vehicle, never been allowed inside a house or even had a collar on. After a little reluctance and a lot of loving coaxing, she seems to be adjusting to 'the good life'. She does love attention, which I don't think she had much of that before either. Pet her and hug her and she wants to be your friend for life. |
