Maggie |
| Summer 2010 Tom stopped by and brought Maggie. It was great to see her. She looks so happy. |
|
update from her forever family 10/13/09:
Maggie continues to have a
wonderful appetite!
She is such a joy to us and we are enjoying every
moment with her! She has become such a wonderful companion to
Tom. She is a very happy and contented - SPOILED ROTTEN member
of our family.
Thank you so much, Nancy

6/05/09: Maggie is a real sweety. She is small enough to curl up in your lap, but big enough not to trip over. Housebroke, cuddly, respectful. She walks good on leash and rides great in the back seat of a car or crated. She is social with other dogs and seems fine with the cat. She would make the perfect companion for a retired couple, but would also do fine when the grandkids are around. Who ever abandoned her did not take the best of care of her and she being treated for heartworm. She started treatment with the 'quick method' but with advisement from a different vet, she will go on the monthly ivermectin (Heartguard) treatment and should be heartworm free in about 6 months. Although it is obvious she has some Pembroke
Corgi in
her, the rest can only be a guess. Seeing her in person, I'm
guessing maybe some Husky or Shepherd. She is not as tall or
big as she appears in her pictures. She is 19" at the shoulder.
She only weighs about 45 pounds. She is about 2 to 3 years
old. And yes, she does occasionally close her mouth. |
