Miss Lucky is a Chow / Shepherd mix. She is a bit unsure of strangers, but once she is assured you are ok, she will begin to trust. It just may take a little patience. She is a 'country girl' so not had a lot of stranger socialization. She was a stray puppy who had been abused and was taken in many years ago by a good Samaritan. Now he is having to go into an assisted living facility and they do not allow large dogs. This could quickly become an urgent situation. Please, if you feel you could give this girl a good home, it would certainly take a lot of the owners mind. It is hard enough losing ones independence, but to have to give up your beloved companion is just as hard, if not harder. Let's make his life a little happier knowing his girl will be loved when he can no longer be with her.
